What is Binairo?
Binairo is a binary logic puzzle played on a grid. Each cell must become one of two symbols, usually 0 and 1, black and white, or sun and moon. A completed board must balance the symbols in every row and column, avoid three matching symbols in a row, and preserve a single valid solution.
Tango belongs to that same puzzle family. The version here uses a 6x6 grid with suns and moons, plus the extra Tango markers: an equals sign means two adjacent cells match, while an x means they must be opposites. Those markers make each board faster to read and give every puzzle a clean deduction path.
Binairo, Takuzu, Binary Puzzle, and Tango
The same style of puzzle appears under several names. Binairo is common in Belgium and the Netherlands. Takuzu is common in France and in many puzzle apps. Binary Puzzle is the plain-English name for the same idea. Tango is the LinkedIn-era version that adds relationship markers between neighboring cells.
If you already know Binairo or Takuzu, you can start playing immediately. The balance and no-triples logic is the same; just treat the = and x markers as extra clues. If you are new, read the short Tango rules guide first, then use Easy mode until the patterns feel automatic.
How to solve Binairo-style boards
Start by scanning for doubles. Whenever two matching symbols sit side by side, the cells immediately before or after that pair must be the opposite symbol. Next, count each row and column. On a 6x6 board, three suns force the rest of that row or column to be moons, and three moons force the rest to be suns.
Finally, follow the relationship markers. An = pair moves together; an x pair flips. The strongest solves come from combining all three ideas at once: a marker creates a pair, the pair triggers a no-triples deduction, and the new placement finishes a row or column count.

Frequently asked questions
Is Tango the same as Binairo?
Tango is in the Binairo family. Both use a two-symbol grid with row and column balance, no triples, and a single logical solution. Tango adds = and x markers between adjacent cells.
Can I play Binairo for free here?
Yes. Tango Unlimited gives you free browser-based Binairo-style puzzles with unlimited boards, three difficulty levels, and no signup.
What is the difference between Binairo and Takuzu?
Binairo and Takuzu are common names for the same binary logic puzzle family. Different publishers and countries use different names, but the core rules are nearly identical.
