Hard mode is for experienced solvers who want a serious logic challenge. Hard boards have fewer clues than easy ones and only a handful of = and × signs, so you'll lean on the balance and no-three rules. Hard puzzles often require multiple passes through the grid, ruling out invalid placements before finding the solution. Most players finish a hard board in under a minute once they know the patterns. If you consistently finish the Daily puzzle quickly, hard mode will push your limits and help you develop deeper pattern recognition skills.
